0,2%

increase in greenhouse gas emissions from our direct operations.
Our target is to reduce emissions by 42% by 2030 compared with our 2022 baseline.

2%

A 2% reduction in emissions generated indirectly by our partners.
Our target is to reduce emissions by 17% by 2030 compared with our 2022 baseline.

MANAGING OUR EMISSIONS

We monitor emissions across all three scopes to take action throughout our value chain. By combining science-based approaches with collaboration, we work to reduce our impacts and adapt to climate-related challenges.

1. Operations

Emissions generated from sources owned or controlled by the Boticário Group.

Fuel combustion in industrial boilers and diesel generators.
Fuel consumption by the executive vehicle fleet.
Fugitive emissions from air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

2. Energy

Indirect emissions from the electricity purchased and consumed by the Boticário Group.

Electricity used in factories and distribution centers.
Energy consumption in company stores and offices.

3. Value chain

Indirect emissions generated by activities across the value chain, including those of suppliers and consumers.

Purchase of goods and services, such as raw materials and packaging.
Logistics and third-party transportation.
Product use and end-of-life disposal.
Electricity consumption at points of sale.

*Durable Consumer Goods, Household and Personal Products sector in Latin America and the Caribbean.

This program accelerates the transition to renewable energy across Boticário Group’s owned stores and has expanded the initiative to its franchise network. By reducing emissions and improving retail efficiency, the program also directs a portion of energy bill payments to climate adaptation projects, creating a continuous cycle of positive impact.

A wide-angle, medium-shot photograph captures a line of people along the sidewalk waiting to enter a commercial establishment with a dark facade and green accents. On the right, a group of people is seen from behind—including a woman in a white jacket with a black backpack, and others dressed in gray coats—gathered before the dark entrance beneath a green awning, where illuminated text is projected onto the inner wall. On the left, the line extends toward the background, guided by black stanchion queue barriers, showing young people walking and chatting, such as a woman in a light denim jacket looking at her phone and a man in profile wearing a gray polo shirt and glasses. The venue's architecture features gray-painted brick walls, green climbing vines ascending the structure, and background trees framing the bustling urban scene on a clear day.
