Mother’s Day

There is an African proverb that says: “It takes a whole village to raise a child.” This is the definition of a support network. A group of all people who are willing to contribute before or after the birth or adoption of a child so that they, their mother, their father or the person responsible for their upbringing have security, physical and emotional comfort. Being a support network means being willing to understand the needs and help with day-to-day tasks of the child’s parents or guardians.

This material was created by the Diversity, Health and Communication teams at Boticário Group and aims to provide society with educational and instructive tips and information. Each family and individual should read these recommendations and evaluate the best way to put them into practice, taking into account their possibilities.

Women’s Day

Progress has been made, but there is still a long (and particularly important) path to be taken. On this Women’s Day, Boticário Group promoted a conversation with special guests. Astrid Fontenelle, Ana Querino – representative of the UN Unstereotype Alliance movement, and Ana Carla Lopes and Emilia Ferraz, representatives of Boticário Group, exchanged information about women’s achievements and challenges.

Open to all employees, this conversation circle brought different points of view and contributions. The content was compiled into a material that provides tips on how we can act for Gender Equality on a daily basis, always with the perspective of reflecting: #HowYouCanContribute.

At home, with friends, at work: there is always an opportunity for you to act for equity.
